Home Staging and HGTV
Lights, cameras, action! TV Brings Home The Power Of Home Staging!
Professional home stagers like the pros at Stage2Amaze know that home staging works to help sell homes. Increasingly, homeowners are becoming educated on the benefits of home stage design, in part thanks to HGTV.
The cable network, Home and Garden Television, features programs that include decorating, home staging, remodeling and gardening. The network was founded by Ken Lowe, president and CEO, out of Lowe’s own desire to learn how to do his own home repairs. Lowe and his wife repaired or rebuilt many homes over the years and Lowe was often frustrated by his own limits of what he could do. If only there was a television show that could teach him more.
In 1992 while working for the Scripps Howard broadcast company in Cincinnati he pitched his idea to his company. In 1994 Home and Garden television make its first appearance. The rest is history.
Remember, hiring a professional home stager will not be the same as being on TV, many of those shows do not paint a completely accurate picture. For example, your home stager will not be rude or insensitive to clients. That only happens on television to boost ratings. Of course, there may be sensitive issues but they will be addressed in a professional and thoughtful way. The best part, when your home is professionally staged it will look as beautiful as anything you might see on HGTV.
